Survivors reflect on how cancer has been a gift in their lives
Written by Facing Cancer TogetherThis holiday season, cancer survivors and family members reflect on how cancer has been a gift in their lives.
For some, cancer has made them appreciate each day in a new way. For others, it has made them slow down and change career paths.
Sandy Good, who is facing ovarian cancer, says she wouldn't say "thank you" for cancer, but she does say thank you for the ways in which it has brought her closer to family and has deepened her faith in God.
Has your own experience with cancer changed your life? Has it been a "gift" in your life? Please leave a comment below.
