Susan Bowman, a nurse navigator at the York Cancer Center, was recently named Breast Cancer Nurse Navigator of the Year.
Her work with over 2,600 patients in the York Cancer Center Breast Program for nearly a decade was recognized by by the Academy of Oncology Nurse Navigators (AONN) when she was presented with this award.
Bowman created the breast cancer navigation program to address the specific needs of WellSpan patients.
