Synthetic wigs and heat - Be Very Careful
More often than we would like to be, we are reminded that synthetic wigs are extremely sensitive to heat. The problem is that women get accustomed to wearing their wig and forget they have it on when cooking. The latest reminder was a boiling pot of pasta. Steam heat damaged the wig. We were able to save it, but many we are not and women have to purchase a new wig.
