Post Breast Cancer: A Whole New Support Experience

Susan's Special Needs is a whole new experience. We have women visit our store and immediately feel warm and welcome in the comforting surroundings reminding one of a street in Paris. Serene murals, the inviting hint of lavender and soft music helps to soothe frayed nerves and provide a setting to share feelings, understand one's diagnosis, and for us to walk the patient through our unique Action Plan.

It is most difficult when you are diagnosed and have been presented with the medical facts regarding your surgery and treatment. The really hard part is being able to sit and talk to someone who has experienced cancer and subsequent treatment. I love being able to talk with, not only the patient, but also with their husbands and families to discuss expectations. My early years as a psych nurse then 20+ years of experience as an Oncology Home Care Nurse and Breast Cancer has offered me an understanding, knowledge and first hand experience to help women work their way through this most difficult time in their life.   800.497.7005  www.SusansSpecialNeeds.com
