HOW TO ORGANIZE MEDICAL INFORMATION

Medical-Insurance
A breast cancer diagnosis comes with what feels like an avalanche of information. Medical jargon. Appointment schedules. Reports. Insurance claims. All of this medical information can be overwhelming. While you may not feel like getting (and staying) organized early in your diagnosis, taking a few small steps to keep things in order will pay off in spades for your mental well being by making you feel more prepared, and less overwhelmed. If you’re truly not up to it, this is the perfect task to give that close friend who asks “What can I do?
Thankfully today there are a number of tools available to help you organize medical information. These tools can be as simple as a binder where you file everything in chronological order, or as specific as theOtherwise Healthy Breast Cancer Planner or the Livestrong Guidebook. Whichever tool you choose, the important thing is that it meets your individual needs.
So go on. Get organized!
