About Our Speaker
Eric P. Winer, MD, is chief of the division of women’s cancers and Thompson Senior Investigator in Breast Cancer Research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. He is a professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School and co-chair of the Breast Committee of the Alliance for Clinical Trials. 
Dr. Winer has devoted his professional career to treating people with breast cancer and breast cancer research. He has designed and led phase I, II and III clinical trials and has collaborated closely throughout his career with psychosocial researchers, health services researchers and basic and translational scientists. Dr. Winer conducts breast cancer research with the goal of extending the lives of people with breast cancer while minimizing suffering and incidence of the disease.
